This is a very Quick tip.

As you continue to use your computer over time it starts running slow. One of the simple and common reasons could be that you have too much data/files on your computer, often the laptop or even the desktop computer would start making loud noises coming from the fan. Because there is to many files the computer starts requiring much more memory and building more work for the processor to access the files, which in turn creates more heat in the computer machines especially the Hard drives or Battery if you have any. It would be a good idea to buy an external hard drive where you will backup your files when the files start building up. I have a very large external hard drive, and I transfer most of my files there very regularly. And connect to my PC or laptop when I need to access certain files which I don’t use often.

The other common reason is that you computer is not receiving enough power. This is a very common reason especially with the latest Operating systems such as Windows 7 which let you control the amount of power your computer uses. Most new computers have their settings set to a Balanced power plan option which is usually the recommended. What you would need to do here to increase your computer performance is change your power plan to High performance. You can modify the settings for this from your Control Panel.

Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options

You won’t believe how faster in performance your computer would run. So check that setting.

That was a quick tip of how to increase your computer/laptop performance.
