Lake Victoria is the Largest Lake in Africa and the largest tropical water lake in the world. It occupies a surface area of 68,800 square kilometres and has a maximum depth of 84 metres (276 ft) and an average depth of 20 metres (66ft). Lake Victoria was named after the United Kingdom’s Queen Victoria, by John Hanning Speke, who was the first European to see the lake. The lake Victoria is located in East Africa and is shared between the three east African countries, Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya.

No one knows exactly when the world will end, however there have been many claims and hypothesis of events which will bring destruction upon our world Earth soon! Or make a major transformation on it. It’s believed by some scientists and spiritual individuals that the world will end in the year 2012 and some accurately proposing on the 12^th December of that year. So the world has been predicted to end on 12^th December 2012, but as you’re already aware there has already been so many of these End of the world or doom’s day date predictions before which we’ve managed to pass through gracefully without any signs. I thought I write a little article about probably the most talked about and shocking phenomenon which has been around long back during the ages of our very first ancestors. The phenomenon has become so popular that it’s dominating the World Wide Web and other forms of communications now that the associated date is approaching nearer and nearer.

Apparently in the year 2012 Earth and its inhabitants will undergo cataclysmic or transformative (spiritual) events (or both) which will dramatically transform the Earth as we know it or mark its destruction. The so-called 2012 phenomenon has caused a lot of speculation among modern scientists and spiritual groups, most of which are based from interpretations of assorted legends, scriptures, numerological constructions, prophecies (such as that described by John in the famous book, the bible, in revelation, or from the famous characters such as Merlin), global warming  and alleged channeling from extraterrestrials.
