Good news for the Rome fans, we have finally something to look forward to. In a 27 February 2008 interview with movieweb.com Ray Stevenson the actor who plays Pullo in the series confirmed that the adaptation of HBO Rome was in development. It was later confirmed in December 2008 by co-creator and writer Heller that there was ‘’talk of doing a movie version’’ I personally think this was a great idea but I would have liked to have a longer version of Rome’s lifestyle explored in modern television entertainment. It’s likely that the two central characters who play Pullo and Vorenus will return in the film version.

The film is due to start filming in summer 2010 and is scheduled for release 2011. Looking so forward to it.
